Toddlers

We are a group of very friendly parents and children who meet in the church hall every Friday afternoon 1:30-3:00pm during term time. 

There are a mix of mums, grandparents and child minders with children from 0-5 and we would love to see new faces.

Our aim is to be fun and friendly environment where mums can chat and make new friends, and children can play and begin to make friends. Between 1:30 and 2:30 children are free to play with our lovely toys including a dolls house, pushchairs and dolls, 

wooden garage and many more besides. We also have a small see-saw, tunnel and some ride-on

 toys for the older children. Whilst the children enjoy themselves there is time for us grown-ups to chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit!

From 2:30 onwards all the children take part in a story and craft activity which can involve gluing, colouring, biscuit/cake decorating, play-doh, or games. These activities are centred around a termly theme such as ‘God made me’,‘Thankyou God for animals’ or ‘Colours and Shapes’. The afternoon finishes with some simple action songs ending with the childrens favourite ‘Ring a ring a roses’!

Highlights of the year include the Christmas and summer party and an annual trip to a local farm park.
