Easter 2018

We would like to invite you to join with us this Easter as we celebrate Christ’s death and resurrection.

Good Friday (30th March) @ Grangetown Baptist Church

For several years we have held a joint Good Friday service with The Bay Church and Emmanuel in Gabalfa.  This year our joint service will also include Grangetown Baptist Church and Redeemer Church in Splott.

It will be held at Grangetown Baptist Church on Clive Road (CF11 7HP) at 10:30 am, and the preacher that morning will be Dai Hankey from Redeemer Church.

Easter Sunday (1st April) @ Caersalem

Morning Family Service: 10:30 am.  The Sunday School children will be taking part in our morning Family Service, and our pastor Andy Christofides will be speaking about The Empty Tomb.

Evening Service: 6:00pm.  Andy will be preaching again at the evening service, takig his text from Luke 24:15 “Jesus Himself drew near”.

Kids Clubs at St Mellons

As a church, we are in the process of re-evaluating the children’s clubs at the moment as many of our team of leaders have had to finish. We have some exciting ideas for a new club which will hopefully start in September, but in the meantime we will be finishing both Friday clubs at Easter. This will give us, as leaders, time to pray, plan and prepare for the new venture during the summer term. We will miss the children but we hope that you will all come back in September. We will keep you all updated over the coming months via the website and social media, so make sure you keep in touch!

In the meantime, why not join us for one of these groups?

Sunday School is for all children aged 3-16 on Sundays from 12pm to 1pm in the upstairs hall.

First Steps is our parent and toddler group for all those with preschool children and runs every Wednesday during school time from 9:30am in the upstairs hall.

For children in High School, the young peoples group meets in various locations on a Friday evening from 7:00pm – get in touch if you want any more information about that.

Or come along on a Sunday to one of our Sunday services at 10:30pm and 6:00pm. All ages are welcome, from the youngest to the oldest, (a creche runs for preschool children) and are followed by refreshments.

We would love to see you!
