Young People

A wide-variety of activities are available for young people. As with all ages in the church, the Sunday Services form the backbone of worship and teaching, and the midweek meeting a focus for prayer and more reflective study.

But it's encouraging to know that many of our young people are not satisified with that, and are eager to learn more, and to spend more time with friends from the church. Our fortnightly discipleship groups for 18+ encourages the group to read and discuss good Christian books. The weekly Extra-Time meeting (ages 11+) provides an opporunity for young people to enjoy fellowship and encouragement together.

If you're a student, a looking to settle in a church in Cardiff during your studies, make sure you visit our student's page.

Discipleship

Discipleship is for younger Christians (18+) and meets every fortnight at the home of Matt and Rose. Each week, we go through a chapter of a book. Currently, the boys are studying Jim Packer's Knowing God and the girls are looking at John Piper's Don't Waste Your Life.

Extra-Time

Extra-Time meets each Sunday, after the evening church service, though once a month we remain in the church to enjoy fellowship tea with everybody else. It is held at Pill Du Farm (The pastor's home) and is for all those of secondary school age, right up to those in university.

The aim is to provide a meeting where the young people of the church can build each other up, be of encouragement to each other, and learn more about what God has to say to us on issues chosen by the young people! Discussions are led by different men of the church, and special guests, and once a month a DVD is shown tackling a Biblical issue.

Come along to the evening church service and you're welcome to come back to Extra Time!
